01Who we are
This policy is from SOER Dev (Trip Keep LLC), Brooklyn, New York (“SOER”, “we”, “us”). It covers the website soer.dev, its chat and its contact form. When we build or set up something for you under a project agreement, that agreement also applies. Our products have their own policies: TalkGrid and LeadGather.
02What we collect
- Chat. The messages you write in the chat, the page you started it on, and the email address you choose to leave so we can reply if you leave the site.
- Contact form. Your name, your email address, your message, and the topic and page the form was sent from.
- Technical data. Like any website, our hosting and the chat service receive your IP address and basic browser information when you load a page or send a message. We use it to deliver the site and to block spam and abuse, for example by limiting how many messages one address can send.
We don’t ask for payment details on this website, and we don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
03How we use it
- To answer your question or request and to keep the conversation going.
- To email you our reply when you’re no longer on the site, if you left your email.
- To prepare a proposal or do the work you ask us for.
- To keep the site, the chat and the form safe from spam and abuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for anyone else’s marketing or for cross-context behavioral advertising.
04Who helps us run this
These service providers process data on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:
- Web hosting and email providers host the website and our email.
- A cloud hosting provider runs our chat service and its database. The chat service also delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
- A messaging app our team uses to read and answer chat messages.
- A web font service serves the fonts on this site, so it receives your IP address when the page loads.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business, in which case this policy keeps applying to it.
05Stored in your browser
The chat keeps a conversation ID in your browser’s local storage so you can come back to the same conversation. It is not a tracking cookie, and it isn’t shared with anyone. You can clear it in your browser settings at any time.
06How long we keep it
We keep conversations and requests for as long as we need them to work with you, and longer only where the law requires it, for example for accounting. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
07How we protect it
The site and the chat run over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to conversations and requests is limited to the people who answer them. No method of sending or storing data is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.
08Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us by email at info [at] soer [dot] dev, in the chat on this site, or through the contact form. We may need to confirm it’s you before we act, and we won’t treat you differently for asking.
Depending on where you live, including California and other US states, you may have these rights by law. We don’t sell or share personal information as those laws define it.
09Children
This site is for businesses. It isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
10Where data is processed
We are based in the United States. Our service providers may process data in the United States and in other countries where they operate.
11Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll make it clear on this page.
